It's back! The Cedarburg Cultural Center and the Love 4 Lexi Foundation are pleased to sponsor the 2012 Youth Plein Air Contest. Awards will be presented in each age category: 5 & under, ages 6-8, ages 9-12 and ages 13-17. Artists ages 13-17 are eligible to participate in the Emerging Artists Category featuring a $250 first place cash prize.
Finished works on canvas or paper should be unframed and be a completed size of 8x10 or 11x14. Paper may be purchased at the Cedarburg Cultural Center, or artists are invited to use their own paper or canvas. Entry is $5 per child, or free entry is included with participation in the Color Your World Art Camp. Each artist may complete an unlimited number of pieces, but only one entry per artist may be entered into the contest. Each blank canvas or paper must be stamped at the registration table at the Center anytime from June 9-19, 2012. Unstamped artwork will not be accepted. Art created during the Color Your World Art Camp classes may not be entered into the competition.
Have fun getting out into the sunshine with your paints, pencils, crayons or pastels and create a work in your favorite location within Ozaukee County. Please leave your work area as you found it when you arrived. Please choose your locations safely!

REGISTRATION
Saturday, June 9 through Tuesday, June 19 – Register at the Cedarburg Cultural Center: Monday – Saturday 10 am – 5 pm / Noon - 4 pm on Sunday. Bring your blank canvas or paper to be stamped, or purchase paper at the Center. 8x10” or 11x14” sizes only please.
CONTEST DATES
Saturday, June 9 at 10 am, through Tuesday, June 19 at 5 pm.
Artists may work anywhere in Ozaukee County, but it must be outdoors.
DEADLINE FOR DROPPING OFF ARTWORK
Tuesday, June 19 at 5 pm
Drop off unframed entries at the Cedarburg Cultural Center.
NO ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER 5 pm on Tuesday, June 19, 2012.

ARTWORK PICK-UP
Tuesday, July 3 at 5 pm. Artists may pick up artwork during normal business hours after that time: Tues-Sat: 10-5, Sun: 12-4, Closed Mondays. The Center will be closed on Wednesday, July 4.
