COMMUNITY HISTORIC MOSAIC MURAL PROJECTS
Roll up your sleeves! We are proud to invite you to a free workshop in glass cutting and mosaic assembly at the CCC. The workshops are part of an exciting Community Historic Mosaic Mural Project, which will culminate in the creation of two exciting works of public art to be enjoyed by all!
The first of the two mosaic murals will be installed at the CCC and focus on the history, architecture and landscape of historic Cedarburg. The second will make its permanent home in the entrance area of the Ozaukee County Administration Center, attached to the historic courthouse in Port Washington. The mosaic will focus on the natural beauty, culture and history of Ozaukee County.
Both murals will be comprised of hand-built ceramic tiles, colored glass and found objects, and scheduled for installation in June of 2012. The project is being led by local mosaic artist Kerry Tharp. Please call Kerry at (262) 476-5073 to register for one of the following free workshop dates:

Cedarburg Workshop dates are held at the Cedarburg Cultural Center. (W62 N546 Washington Avenue).
Glass cutting is recommended for adults & children ages 10 & up.

Tuesday, April 10: 6:30 - 8:30 pm
Thursday, April 12: 12:30 - 3:30 pm
Saturday, April 21: 10 am - 12 pm
Saturday, April 21: 12 - 2 pm
Port Washington workshops are held at the Courthouse Auditorium, located on level "G" at 121 W. Main Street, Port Washington.
Glass cutting is recommended for adults & children ages 10 & up.
